Running until May 2 — and yes, it's as fun as it sounds. Hot Wheels Speed City just landed at Katara and it's genuinely one of the better family activities in Doha right now. Kids go absolutely wild for it, but honestly the nostalgia hit for adults is real too. April weather makes perfect timing — get there before it wraps up or before the heat makes outdoor anything miserable. Book now. 

Ladies Day at Desert Falls Waterpark

A proper Doha gem that doesn't get enough attention. Desert Falls Sea Caves Waterpark has a dedicated Ladies Day every week — and if you haven't been, it's one of those places that's way more impressive than you'd expect. The sea caves concept is unique, the water is clean, and it's a genuinely fun afternoon out without needing to plan anything elaborate. Book your tickets now. 

Fontana Circus 

This is genuinely your last chance. Qatar's first traveling water circus from the Middle East wraps up this Saturday. I know "circus" sounds like it's only for kids — it's not. Fontana is a full spectacle and it's been selling out nights all month. If you've been saying "I'll go next week" — there is no next week.

Museum of Islamic Art

Empire of Light exhibition runs until May 30. The MIA never gets old, no matter how many times you've walked through it. Right now it's hosting the Afghanistan: Crossroads of Culture exhibition alongside Empire of Light — both genuinely moving and worth your time. If you haven't been in a while, go this weekend. The building alone, shaped like a desert rose, is one of the most beautiful things in Doha.

Desert safari at Sealine 

April is the last comfortable month for this. Once May hits, the heat makes a full-day desert trip feel less like an adventure and more like a punishment. Sealine and the Inland Sea are still stunning right now — golden dunes, complete silence, and one of those sunsets that makes you remember why you chose to live here.
