Aura Group has announced plans to open 36 new restaurants in Qatar, increasing dining options for citizens and residents, as well as spectators and visitors to the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

The comment was given by Naveed Dowlatshahi, CEO of Aura Group, at a recent special event hosted at Orient Pearl Restaurant on the Corniche. The event brought together and acquainted important stakeholders in the country's hotel concierge and travel agency sectors with the new high-end dining alternatives, with the goal of establishing a fruitful relationship in marketing the brands during and after the World Cup.

The new brands will be spread over three primary destinations: Lusail Boulevard, Al Maha Island, and Hamad International Airport, highlighting a blend of Aura’s most successful homegrown concepts and world-famous brands, such as Nammos beach club, the Mykonos beachside restaurant; Zuma for contemporary Japanese food; Em Sherif, fine dining Oriental cuisine; Billionaire Doha, the luxury dining and extravagant show concept paired with nightlife; LPM French Mediterranean and Niçoise Restaurant; Carbone, an Italian-American eatery; Beefbar Steakhouse; and Tatel for Spanish-Mediterranean cuisine.

Other notable concepts, including Rossopomodoro, Streetery, Concept by Lemon Butter, Han Shi Fu, Pura Vida, Maia Lounge, Maia Café, Maia Boutique, Moka Caffe, Belhambar, and many more, are set to open outlets in iconic venues such as the Mall of Qatar, The View Hospital, the Korean Medical Center (KMC), Qatar's newest state-of-the-art medical facilities, and Doha Corniche.

These internationally recognized restaurants will meet the increased need for upmarket and foreign food outlets to fulfill guests' gourmet tastes before, during, and after the 2022 FIFA World Cup. The internationally admired brands will serve as motivation to attract more foreign visitors and provide an incredible new experience to the market.
