Auction for World Cup Fancy Number Plates with Qatar 2022 Logo to Start on Thursday

The General Directorate of Traffic will organise an electronic auction for special numbers with the World Cup logo through Metrash2 app.

The General Directorate of Traffic announced that the 12th electronic auction for special numbers will begin from tomorrow (September 15, 2022), at 8 am and will continue until Sunday (September 18, 2022), at 10pm.

These special number plates will carry the logo of the World Cup. The numbers will be grouped into two categories with separate security deposits for both.

The General Directorate of Traffic had concluded its 11th electronic auction for special number plates with the World Cup logo through Metrash2 app in May 2022.

A total of 50 special number plates carrying the official World Cup logo were auctioned then with the number plate 811118 fetching around QR1.8million.
