The Amiri Diwan has confirmed the official Eid AlโAdha 1447 AH โ 2026 holiday schedule for ministries, government agencies, public bodies, and institutions.
The holiday will begin on Tuesday, 26 May 2026 (Dhul Hijjah 9, 1447 AH) and continue until Saturday, 30 May 2026 (Dhul Hijjah 13, 1447 AH). Employees will resume work on Sunday, 31 May 2026 (Dhul Hijjah 14, 1447 AH).
The Qatar Central Bank, along with banks, financial institutions under its supervision, and the Qatar Financial Markets Authority, will observe holiday dates determined separately by the Governor of the Qatar Central Bank.
For the private sector, holiday schedules will be announced by individual employers, with employees advised to contact their respective HR departments for details.
Officials emphasized that the announcement reflects Qatarโs commitment to ensuring clarity and coordination across public and private sectors during one of the most significant occasions in the Islamic calendar.
