Shield 6 (Sky Nex) Exercise

The Amiri Air Defense Forces carried out the shield 6 (Sky Nex) exercise in Al Qalayel Square of the Armed Forces under the patronage and presence of HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defense Affairs Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al Attiyah, and in the presence of HE Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces Salem bin Hamad bin Aqeel Al Nabit.

During the exercise, a direct engagement took place between the shooting units of the Amiri Air Defense Forces and a number of fixed and movable-wing drones. The success rate of hitting the targets was 100 percent for all targets in a record time.

The exercise was attended by the HE Commander of the Qatari Amiri Air Defense Forces, Staff Major General Rashid Ali Al Qashouti, and a number of officers in the Armed Forces.
