If you are a thrill seeker and adventure lover then the Al Adaid Desert Challenge 2026 is an event which you cannot miss. Now in its 8th edition, this epic outdoor sports event encourages participants to push their physical boundaries amid stunning natural surrounds – Sealine beach which is close to the well-known Al Adaid -singing dunes.

Presented by Qatar Cyclists, in collaboration with the Ministry of Sports & Youth and combines cycling, running and mutli-sport racing all in one amazing day.

What Is the Al Adaid Desert Challenge?

The Al Adaid Desert Challenge is a multi-discipline endurance event featuring:

MTB (Mountain Bike) Race – 34K

Duathlon – 34K MTB + 6K Run

Trail Running – 21.1K and 10K

All races are held on accurately measured courses and participation is limited to 600 athletes, ensuring a well-organized and safe experience for everyone.

Trail Run (21.1K & 10K): 6:40 AM

Who Can Participate?

Open to participants 17 years and above

Categories available for Open (17–39) and Masters (40+)

Participants must be medically fit and properly trained

Certain items such as personal music players, pets, skateboards, and baby joggers are not permitted during the race to ensure safety.

By registering, you consent to the terms of the event’s safety guidelines, assumption of risk and waiver. The event may be modified or cancelled, if required by organizers due to unforeseen circumstances.
