According to its top official, AirSial has become Pakistan's third private airline to commence foreign flights after obtaining a license to serve Gulf nations, Iraq, and Iran.

According to Fazal Jillani, chairman of AirSial, the Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority has granted the airline an international license, and it will shortly begin flights to the Gulf nations.

"The Civil Aviation Authority has granted AirSial carrier a legal authorization." "We can now begin flights to the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, Iraq, and Iran," Jillani said during a gala event in Sialkot to commemorate the airline's entry into the international market.

The federal cabinet granted AirSial authorization to begin foreign flights on Thursday.

"We are grateful to civil aviation for obtaining official approval for foreign flights, and we are aiming to further improve the quality of airline service," Jillani stated to the audience.

After the public-listed Pakistan Foreign Airlines (PIA), the largest private carrier airblue, and Islamabad-based Serene Airways, AirSial will be the fourth Pakistani airline to begin international operations.

The Sialkot-based AirSial, which is set to fly its maiden international trip in early October, was obliged to have at least five airworthy aircraft, either purchased or on dry lease, before beginning international operations. The airline must also maintain smooth operations on primary and socioeconomic routes.

The Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry founded Air Sial in 2020 to increase air travel. The airline employed an Airbus A320 fleet to originally service several domestic routes from its operating hub at Jinnah International Airport.
