Qatar Embassy in Manila has informed citizens traveling to the Philippines about the requirements for entry into the Philippines Republic.
According to a tweet posted on the Embassy's official Twitter account from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, starting from May 30, 2022, the procedures will be as follows:
1-The Passport validity should not be less than 6 months
2-Round trip plane tickets are required for travel with the residency not exceeding 30 days
3-It is mandatory to complete the two vaccination doses for those who are less than 18 years old and complete the two vaccination doses with a booster shot for those who are above 18 years old, and children under 12 years old traveling with their parents are exempt from vaccination requirements
4-Getting the vaccination certificate and the vaccination card issued from the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) in Qatar
5-Those who did not get the above-mentioned vaccination requirements must submit a negative PCR result done within (8) hours or a negative Antigen test within (2) hours from the departure time, without entering any other country during the transit period
6-Obtaining an International Health Insurance that covers the expenses of treating Covid-19 with a coverage amount of no less than thirty-five thousand US Dollars (35,000) USD
7-Registering in the One Health Pass under the Philipines’ Ministry of Health
8-Citizens who come from the Philipines are not required to go through the Hotel Quarantine, but they must monitor themselves for seven days for any symptoms
9-Citizens who do not comply with the above-mentioned requirements will be banned from entering the Philipines
