239 new Covid-19 confirmed cases in Qatar, no new death case as of Nov. 20

Qatar announced today, November 20, 2020, the registration of 239 new confirmed cases of coronavirus (Covid-19), with 223 patients infected with Covid-19 having recovered in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of recovered cases in the country to 133,914.

The Ministry of Health also reported (MoPH) no new death case due to the virus in the last 24 hours.

Out of the 2139 new cases, 189 are community cases and 50 from travellers returning from abroad.


So far, 235 people died from the coronavirus in Qatar.

All new cases have been placed in isolation and are receiving necessary health care according to their health status.

MoPH added that over the last 24 hours, 1 person was admitted to intensive care due to Covid-19, bringing the total number of cases in intensive care to 35 cases. It also confirmed that the total number of positive Covid-19 cases recorded in Qatar till now stands at 136,888 and there are 2,739 active cases under treatment. So far, 235 people died from the virus in the country.

Health officials conducted 10,630 tests in last 24 hours taking the total tests done so far to 1,072,110 tests.
