Three planets to approach Moon over Qatar sky

Qatar residents and all Arabic countries residents will have a good chance to seeing and observing Three planets (Mars, Jupiter, and Venus) of our solar system on the evening and dawn sky during January 2020, moreover, the three planets will approaching Moon at different times during January. Qatar Calendar House (QCH) announced.

The red planet "Mars" will approach Moon on the dawn of Tuesday, January 21, 2020, where it will be at two degrees southern Moon's center. Qatar residences will have a good chance to seeing and observing Mars close to Moon over the eastern horizon of Qatar sky from the Moonrise till Sunrise time, where Moon will rise on Tuesday at 3:08 Am. Astronomer expert at QCH Dr. Beshir Marzouk said.

On the dawn of Thursday, January 23, 2020, thegiant planet "Jupiter" will be very close to the Moon, where it will be at less thanhalf degree northern Moon's center over Qatar sky. Moreover, Qatar residents will have a good chance to seeing and observing Jupiter and Moon together with naked eyes or astronomical telescopes over eastern horizon on Thursday from the time rise of Moon and Jupiter at 5:03Am Doha local time till the Sunrise time over Qatar sky at 6:22Am Doha local time.

Dr. Beshir Marzouk added,the brightest planet "Venus" will be approaching new crescent of Jumada II 1441H, where it will be at four degrees northern Moon's center. Qatar residents can see Venus and Moon together with naked eyes on the evening sky, for three hours approximately, from the Sunset time at 5:16 Pm Doha local time till the time set of Venus at 8:15 Pm Doha local time.  

These astronomical phenomena are very important because it is guiding for amateur astronomers to know the map of the sky during this month, moreover, validate the astronomical calculations.
