QMD warns strong winds, high seas and windy conditions on Thursday

According to Qatar Meteorology Department (QMD) in its latest weather report, warns of strong wind in few places in the region during daytime on Thursday. The report said that Qatar is likely to witness windy conditions and high seas in offshore areas during the noon time. 
The wind speed is likely to be less than five knots at first, becoming mainly northwesterly with speeds of 10-20 knots and gusting to 30 knots in some places during the daytime.
The report also added that the offsore, southwesterly-northwesterly winds is expected to blow at 8-18 knots, with the speed rising to 18-25 knots during the noon.
The detailed weather report says that scattered clouds to partly cloudy conditions is likely to witnessed at times and there is a chance of scattered rain along with slight dust in some places. Mild conditions will prevail by night. It will be partly cloudy in offshore areas at first, followed by fine conditions later. The sea level may rise to 8ft by the afternoon. The temperature will be varying from 26-36C in Doha on Thursday.
