QMD: Thundershowers and strong winds likely to be witnessed

According to the latest weather report by Qatar Meteorological Department (QMD), thundershowers and sudden strong winds are expected in the region. The report stated that the weather inshore until 6 in the evening on Wednesday will be marked by cloudy to partly cloudy sky with chance of rain.
 
 
Wind inshore is expected to be southeasterly to northeasterly 08 to 18 knot reaches to 30 knot at few places with thundery rain.
 
The wind offshore, it will be hazy with scattered to partly clouds that may become cloudy with chance of light rain that can be thundery at times. Warning of expected thunder rain at some places associated with strong wind and high sea by afternoon, the report added. 
 
Offshore, it is likely to be mainly southeasterly to northeasterly 05 to 15 knot gusting to 30 knot with thunder rain. Visibility will be 4 to 8/3 kilometers or less with thundery rain. Sea state inshore will be 1 to 3 feet, rises to 5 feet with thunder rain, while offshore it will be 2 to 4 feet, rises to 9 feet with thunder rain.
