Qatar Stars League clubs leave team hotels for home quarantine

QNB Stars League clubs continued to leave their team hotels and enter home quarantine after completing the second round of Coronavirus (Covid-19) tests.




Al Gharafa, Al Sadd, Al Wakrah, Qatar SC, Al Khor and Al Rayyan clubs decided to leave their team hotels for home quarantine, after signing pledges to adhere to all preventive measures stipulated in the general protocol approved by the clubs, players and technical as well as administrative staff.

It may be noted that the test process will continue periodically, twice a week, in co-operation with the Ministry of Public Health and Aspetar hospital. If any of the team staff fails to do so or does not comply with these tests or in the event of a positive result, he will become ineligible to participate in training and matches.

Last June 28, QNB Stars League Clubs continued to undergo the second round of Coronavirus (Covid-19) tests and blood samples were taken for laboratory analysis after they completed a period of 14 days in hotel, as per the general plan and protocol developed ahead of the resumption of 2019-20 season QNB Stars League.
