Qatar reports 126 new COVID-19 cases, 21 recovered patients

A total of 126 new cases of coronavirus (Covid-19) and recovery of 21 patients were confirmed by the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) in the State of Qatar today.

Some of the new cases of infection are linked to travellers who returned to the country from abroad and were required quarantine upon arrival. Other new cases were in contact with positive cases in Qatar. All newly infected cases are now under quarantine and are receiving necessary medical care.

MoPH announced the recovery of 21 more patients, taking the total number of recovered cases in Qatar now at 93.

The Ministry reiterated the importance of the community's cooperation and compliance to all health guidelines and preventive measures to eliminate the risk of contracting Covid-19.​
