Qatar plans to invest in Pakistan’s Gwadar port

Qatar has communicated enthusiasm for the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor and appeared at put resources into the remote ocean port of Gwadar, as indicated by a report in The Express Tribune. 

Qatar intends to invest in food storage facilities that will be set up at the port in Gwadar. 

The speculation will likewise help build up the district and the neighborhood economy. Pakistan's Prime Minister Imran Khan is booked to visit Qatar on January 22. 


The PM is likewise expected to talk about different arrangements including one on the import of liquified flammable gas (LNG), the report said. 

Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Finance Minister Asad Umar, Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Overseas Pakistani Zulfi Bukhari, Petroleum Minister Ghulam Sarwar Khan and the counsel on exchange are required to go with the PM.
