Qatar Condemns Explosion in Afghanistan

At least 12 civilians have been killed and more than 100 people wounded after a car bomb explosion in Afghanistan’s western province of Ghor, according to government officials.

The State of Qatar has expressed its strong condemnation and denunciation of the explosion that targeted a police headquarters in Ghor province, central Afghanistan, and led to deaths and injuries.

In a statement on Sunday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated the State of Qatar's firm stance on rejecting violence and terrorism regardless of motives and causes.

The statement expressed the State of Qatar's condolences to the families of victims and the government and people of Afghanistan, wishing the wounded a speedy recovery.
