Qatar achieves new milestone in civil aviation safety

Qatar, represented by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), has established another new record in the results of the safety oversight review of c civil aviation as indicated by the Universal Safety Oversight Audit Program (USOAP).

Worldwide Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) verified the similarity of the nation's air safety measures with the global norms and benchmarks contained in the Chicago Convention on International Civil Aviation and its annexes.

For the first time in the world, the aviation safety of the civil aviation system in Qatar accomplished a consistence rate of 91,16 as indicated by the new ICAO gauges. In this way, Qatar turns into the first nation to get this percentage through the results of a far reaching review of all parts of the aviation safety of the civil aviation system.

This accomplishment is a clear sign of the viability of the role of the civil aviation safety system in Qatar, particularly as it works in a difficult situation and inside extraordinary conditions under the out of line blockade forced on it. Qatar will be respected at the next meeting of the ICAO in September in Montreal, Canada.
