Karak Stop Launches Qatar’s First Karak Mobile App

Karak Stop - a local Qatari brand - announced today the availability of Qatar’s first Karak Mobile App for ordering and delivery service for its valued customers. To ensure hygienic and timely delivery, customer orders through Karak stops’ own app, will be delivered to them by Karak Stop’s own delivery drivers, ensuring a consistent service.  Through the app, Karak Stop is creating more ways for guests to access their Karak Stop favorites while ensuring Karak Stop’s quality delivery experience, the company has honed over the last few months.

In the wake of store closures due to the pandemic for the past three months, Karak Stop has worked hard to cater to its customers by providing a continuous service though delivery or pick-up (when permitted). In fact, the "Karak Stop’s own mobile app was only possible because of the strong demand of our loyal customers”, says Adil Ahmed, Managing Director of Karak Stop. In addition to being able to order from Karak Stop’s own app and website, consumers also have the option to use food delivery apps such as Talabat and Carriage to order from Karak Stop. Delivery via the Karak Stop app and ecommerce platforms is here to stay and will continue to be a strong point of access, for both new and existing Karak Stop customers.

Adil adds, "The most important consideration for Karak Stop is owning the guest experience – and making sure it's a great one. These new platforms are possible because we already have a fleet of delivery drivers and the infrastructure created to support increased demand for food delivery. We believe that Qatar’s only Karak mobile app model helps differentiate us from our competitors and will take our already successful delivery business to new heights."

Karak Stop is now working to open new outlets in Mall of Qatar and West Bay, and to introduce new innovative products such as the disposable Karak flask for the quality conscious corporate offices in West Bay. In the coming months, customers using the Karak App will be able to earn loyalty points toward MyKarak rewards program when ordering through the App.

About Karak Stop

Three years ago, at a time when Karak related menu meant low quality, Karak Stop set out to challenge this expectation. We believed that Karak and related food that was good and that you could feel good about, served in a warm and welcoming environment by people who cared, could bring out the best in all of us. To us, that is Karak, as it should be and that is why we exist.

So, we began with a simple commitment: to make fresh Karak and Chapati, every order is fresh in our café and our mobile kiosks. No short cuts, just baristas and cooks with simple ingredients and commitment to serve. Karak Stops currently operate out of Gulf Mall and has mobile setups installed at Al Hazm Mall, Katara Winter Fest, Summer Entertainment City, Burger Festival, Flower Festival, and at many other festivals and events. Karak Stop’s signature café is expected to open in Mall of Qatar in early August 2020 while West Bay branch will open in September 2020.
