HH the Amir Visited National Security Shield Center on Wednesday

HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani on Wednesday morning made a visit to the National Security Shield Center in Duhail camp complex.
During the visit, HH the Amir listened to a briefing that was made on the conference of forming a duty force for joint operations tasks for FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, along with the participation of a number of brotherly and friendly countries represented by the Republic of Turkey, the United States of America, the United Kingdom, the French Republic, the Italian Republic, in addition to the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO).
HH the Amir also listened to another briefing made on Invincible Security Sentry 2021 exercise', which was organised in cooperation between the Qatari armed forces and the US forces. The primary focus was to ensure bilateral planning, develop the efficiency of the administrative and military cadres and their performance in the vital mission areas by enhancing interoperability between the two countries, develop coordination and planning in order to respond to transnational terrorist threats, and to reinforce ways of dealing with regional security threats.
Following which, HH the Amir took a tour around the operations room and the halls of the air, land and sea halls.
During this visit, HH the Amir was accompanied by HE Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al-Thani, HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defense Affairs Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al-Attiyah and a number of their excellencies ministers and senior military officials.
