HH the Amir, Turkish President discuss strategic relations between the two countries, regional issues

His Highness the Amir of the State of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan discussed the strategic relations between the two countries and ways to support and enhance them in various fields, especially in economic, investment, commercial, energy and defense cooperation in a way that achieves common interests for the two countries and peoples. The two leaders affirmed their determination to bring the relations between the two countries to more cooperative and integrated levels in all fields.

 

In the meeting held at the Pearl Palace this afternoon, HH the Amir and the Turkish President discussed the latest developments in Palestine, Libya, Syria and Yemen, in addition to exchanging views on international issues of common concern.

The meeting was attended by a number of Their Excellencies Ministers. From the Turkish side, it was attended by a number of Their Excellencies members of the official delegation accompanying HE the Turkish President.
