Five people arrested for violating home quarantine conditions

The competent authorities arrested on Friday five people who violated the requirements of the home quarantine they committed to following, which they are legally accountable for, in accordance with the procedures of the health authorities in the country.

It is in implementation of the precautionary measures in force in the country, approved by health authorities represented in the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH), to ensure the achievement of public safety and to curb the spread of the coronavirus.

The arrested persons being referred to the competent prosecution are:

1- Mohammed Khalifa Mohammed Al Fares Al Kaabi.

2- Khalid Mohammed Naji Ahmed Al Jaal.

3- Mohammed Salem Abdullah Hamad Al Marri.

4- Ali Abdullah Ali Dasmal Al Kuwari.

5- Abdulwahab Saad Ahmed Al Ibrahim Al Mohannadi.

 

The concerned authorities in the State called on citizens and residents who are subject to quarantine to fully adhere to the requirements set by the Ministry of Public Health to ensure their safety and the safety of others.

The designated authorities called on citizens and residents under home quarantine to fully commit to the Ministry of Public Healths condition, to ensure their safety and the safety of others. They added that anyone who violates the quarantine will be subject to article no. 253 of law no. 11 of 2004, provisions of law no. 17 of 1990 on communicable diseases, and law no. 17 of 2002 on protecting society.
