Few lanes on Al Corniche Street and Al Rumaila to remain closed for a month

The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) will actualize an impermanent closure on certain paths of Al Corniche Street and Al Rumaila Area, beginning the night of 4 April 2019 for one month in a joint effort with the General Directorate of traffic. The closure means to finish interfacing the new Treated Sewage Effluent line with the former one as a feature of the improvement works for roundabouts and intersections in different territories of Greater Doha.

150 meters will be shut from one of the paths committed for the left turn at the Qatar National Theater Intersection heading from Al Corniche Street to Mohammed Bin Thani Street.

Additionally, 300 meters of the left path of Al Bidda Street (known as Majliss Al Taawon Street) will be shut down, this is found straightforwardly after Wadi Al Sail Intersection towards Al Diwan Al Amiri.

Also, 200 meters will be shut from one of the paths turning left at Wadi Al Sail Intersection, from Mohammed Bin Thani Street to Al Bidda Street.

Ashghal will introduce street signs informing drivers regarding the closure. Ashghal demands all street clients to maintain as far as possible (50 km/hour), and pursue the street signs to guarantee their security.
