Doha Trade Fair attracts thousands of visitors

In addition to international exhibitors, distinctive Qatari products that were highly popular in previous exhibitions are also participating in the exhibition which will continue until January 31.

A total of 170 companies are participating second edition of the Doha Trade Fair (DTF) currently ongoing at the Doha Exhibition Center, displaying products for a large number of countries in the region, such as Kyrgyzstan, Yemen, Morocco and Tunisia.

In addition to international exhibitors, distinctive Qatari products that were highly popular in previous exhibitions are also participating in the exhibition which will continue until January 31.

Mohamed Ammar Al-Bunni, General Manager of the Sicily Company for Organizing and Executing Exhibitions, said that this version of the Doha Trade Fair is distinguished by dazzling decorations to provide a smooth and comfortable shopping experience for visitors thereby attempting to organize exhibitions according to the finest standards in terms of aesthetics, flow of wings and arrangement of various products in the exhibition.

Hassan Jumaa, General Manager of the Qatari Marketers Company remarked that the experience of the Qatari Exhibition Organizing Companies had a great role in the success of the exhibitions organized by our company due to the exchange of experiences between them.

“The Doha Trade Fair in its second edition represents a rich experience in upgrading the exhibition industry in the country in line with Qatar National Vision 2030, and to benefit from the great support provided by the state in this field despite the difficult global economic conditions as a result of the Corona pandemic,” he added.

 

The exhibition has witnessed a great demand for its products, especially from families due to the diversity of products offered by the exhibition from different countries of the world, noting that the exhibition opens its doors from 10am until 10pm and also on Friday from 2pm until 11 pm.

Jumaa revealed that the entire area of the exhibition is 5771 square meters and certain products are being presented for the first time, pointing out that a variety of clothes, abayas, winter fashion, accessories, perfumes, cosmetics, furnishings, carpets, and various types of shawls are on display. 

Besides, al-ghutr, carpets and sadu, camp supplies, and food products, whether manufactured in Qatar or from different countries of the world are also available.

Al-Raya newspaper are the media sponsors of DTF.

The general manager had previously said that he expected that the exhibition would attract about 65,000 visitors, after the great success of the Doha Winter Fair held last month, noting that the exhibition will present traditional products such as pickles and spices for traditional Qatari food with an original flavor, as these spices are made in an old traditional way similar to what was previously accepted and appreciated.

“I would like to express my thanks and appreciation to everyone who contributed to the success of the previous exhibitions organized by our company, especially the medical staff, the National Committee for Crisis Management, and those in charge of managing the Doha Exhibition Center, pointing to following the instructions issued by the precautionary and health measures in all previous and subsequent exhibitions,” he concluded.
