Committee discusses preparations for rain expected next week

The Ministry of Municipality and Environment spoken to by Rainfall Emergency Committee held a gathering yesterday to talk about essential arrangements to handle the precipitation which is normal one week from now. 

The Head of the Rainfall Emergency Committee, Safar Mubarak Al Shafi, said amid the gathering every one of the arrangements for the forthcoming stage have been checked on, in collaboration with districts, Mechanical Equipment Department, Public Works Authority (Ashghal) and Internal Security Force (Lekhwiya) of the Ministry of Interior.

Al Shafi emphasized that designs and projects have been set to set up the field groups, give the prerequisites expected to handle the precipitation. He said that low laying territories have been recognized with the end goal to evacuate the water-logging at the earliest opportunity.
