A dynamic new addition to Doha’s vibrant Food and Beverage scene has opened at the 5-star boutique Alwadi Hotel Doha MGallery Hotel Collection in the presence of French Ambassador to Qatar, H.E Franck Gellet. Inspired by Jules Verne’s famous adventure novel ‘Around the World in 80 Days’, a journey into the new Infinity Lounge takes guests on a tour of global beverage creations with signature refreshments bursting with distinctive tastes and flavours from 29 countries.

Open from 5pm until 2am, the rooftop lounge offers stunning views of Doha’s impressive night skyline and Souq Waqif against a background of soothing music.

“Infinity Lounge is a rooftop hideaway which opens up the world of refreshment and is a window to the wonder of Doha,” explained Hani Akkari, the hotel’s Acting General Manager. “It is perfect for sundowners, pre and post dinner refreshments or delivering a wow factor to seal a business deal or impress friends.”

The Infinity Lounge menu, designed in the style of an old novel, boasts 42 classic refreshments from 35 global cities and six signature creations for Alwadi – one from each continent. It’s a round-the-world journey which features infamous woody and bitter flavoured refreshments from the USA’s prohibition era to exotic, spicy Asian creations or sweet and fruit Caribbean concoctions.

“It’s a destination where memories can be created,” added Akkari. “The experience runs right until the end of a guest’s visit. We are confident that with one journey finished, it won’t be long before guests are back for another world of adventure.”
