Al-Majd Road: The longest road in Qatar officially opened

The Al-Majd Road, which joins highways all through the nation, was opened to general society in a ceremony held today. The orbital street, as it was referred to before, will be formally known as Al-Majd street from now onwards. 

The Prime Minister and Minister of Interior H E Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani, introduced the Al-Majd Road, which has 18 intersections and connections every single major street in the nation, associating it to the streets of Al-Wukair, G-Ring, Salwa, Al-Sailiya and Dukhan. 

Extending around 195 km, from Mesaieed Road to Ras Laffan Road and Al Khor Highway, Al-Majd Road is the longest street in the nation.
