203 new Covid-19 confirmed cases in Qatar, no new death case as of Jan. 19

Qatar announced today, January 19, 2021, the registration of 203 new confirmed cases of coronavirus (Covid-19), with 203 patients infected with Covid-19 having recovered in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of recovered cases in the country to 144,218.
The Ministry of Health also reported (MoPH) no new death case due to the virus in the last 24 hours.
Out of the 225 new cases, 199 are community cases and 26 from travellers returning from abroad.
So far, 246 people died from the coronavirus in Qatar.
All new cases have been placed in isolation and are receiving necessary health care according to their health status.
MoPH added that over the last 24 hours, 5 patients were admitted to intensive care due to Covid-19, bringing the total number of cases in intensive care to 31 cases. It also confirmed that the total number of positive Covid-19 cases recorded in Qatar till now stands at 147,729 and there are 3,263 active cases under treatment.
Health officials conducted 9,490 tests in last 24 hours taking the total tests done so far to 1,328,247 tests.

Avoid close contact with others, crowded places and confined closed spaces where other people congregate.
Wearing a face mask.
Washing hands regularly.

Ministry urged anyone with Covid-19 symptoms to immediately contact the MoPH helpline 16000, or go to one of the virus testing centers, as the earlier the disease is detected, the easier and faster the chances of recovery from it.
The four main testing centers include:
• Muaither Health Centre
• Rawdat Al Khalil Health Centre
• Um Slal Health Centre; and
• Al Gharafa Health Centre
