This cosmetic product banned in Oman

The 'Faiza' individual consideration item has been prohibited in Oman, the Public Authority for Consumer Protection (PACP) reported on Tuesday.

As indicated by authorities, the item was prohibited for not acquiring endorsement from the concerned specialist.

In an announcement PACP stated, "Dr. Saeed Bin Khamis Al Kaabi, Chairman of the PACP Public issued choice No 59/2019 to suspend the course of beauty care products and individual consideration items with the brand name "Faiza" regardless of whether as cream, moisturizer, or cleanser, or different arrangements until the endorsement of the concerned expert, Article 2 stipulates that "the provider will be required to pull back the current amounts of the item referenced in Article 1 of all the Sultanate's business sectors."

PACP cautions that any individual who repudiates the arrangements of this choice will be subject to the authoritative fine accommodated in Article 51 of the official guidelines of the Consumer Protection Law.

The choice depends on the Royal Decree No. 26/2011 setting up the Public Authority for Consumer Protection, the Royal Decree No. 53/2011, the Consumer Protection Law proclaimed by Royal Decree No. 66/2014, the Executive Regulations of the Law issued by Decision No. 77/2017.
