Qatar beats Palestine 3-0 as captain Al Haydos celebrates100th match with goal

Qatar's Captain Hasan Al Haydos yesterday celebrated his 100th match milestone with a plucky goal as Qatar beat Palestine 3-0 in their international friendly match at the Khalifa International Stadium.

Goals by Almoez Ali (3), Akram Afif (20) and captain Hassan Al Haydos (30) helped the hosts race away to an easy win.

 

It was Qatar’s second successive win following their 1-0 win over China on Friday at the same venue.

Before the start of the international friendly at the Khalifa International Stadium, QFA President Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Thani on Tuesday presented a jersey with 100 emblazoned on the back to Qatar skipper Al Haydos.

Al Haydos’ Qatar team mates also presented a bouquet to the captain who was all smiles near the touchline.
