Naseem Al Rabeeh wins JCI Accreditation

Doha: “Naseem Al Rabeeh Medical Centre” has received accreditation from Joint Commission International (JCI), which is considered the gold standard in global health care. A global recognition to Naseem Al Rabeeh’s constant endeavour to provide the patients with the highest quality of healthcare while ensuring safety in every aspect, Naseem Healthcare becomes one of a few institutions in the country to be accredited the same.  

Joint Commission International (JCI), a US-based organisation, that identifies and measures the best practices in quality and patient safety across the world, accredits the medical centre following a constant quality evaluation that span a few years. JCI provides leadership and innovative solutions to help healthcare organizations across all settings to improve performance and outcomes.

Speaking on the occasion, Mohammad Miandad V P, Managing Director, Naseem Healthcare Group recalled the organisation’s remarkable growth:” Our Medical Centre commenced operations ten years back with one centre and we have now six centres.  Government and people in Qatar are quality oriented when it comes to healthcare, we have always focused on advanced technologies and international standards of clinical care, combined with the highest levels of quality and compassionate care as we are driven by our vision to be the worlds most preferred healthcare provider. 

He further emphasised the Naseem’s commitment to quality and ethics, “All medical programs offered by us are underpinned by an uncompromising belief and practice of ethics, strict clinical governance and excellence. The JCI accreditation at our first attempt itself is a testimony to the efforts put in by each stakeholder making us only the largest private medical centre in Doha to achieve the same. Our guests (patients) has been very supportive and cooperated very well with us in during our JCI accreditation process.” 

The healthcare sector in the Qatar is expanding and there is an increasing demand for quality and efficiency. Naseem Healthcare has maintained its standards throughout the years and aims to expand and improve its services further every year. Currently, the Naseem Healthcare has six branches in Qatar named as Naseem Al Rabeeh Medical Centre located at C Ring, Al Hilal and Al Rayyan, Premium Naseem Al Rabeeh located at Mamoura , Al Rabeeh Dental Centre located at Muntaza and Azizia. Also, have around 100+ doctors and 500+ healthcare professionals of different nationalities in various departments. “Such international certification is good for the industry as it supports the patients and builds trust in the organizations,” Miandad added. 

He has also stated on the future expansion plans of Naseem Healthcare.  Our upcoming projects, Diagnostic and Surgical ward, CT & MRI facility at C Ring branch and a new medical centre, which expected to start the function by July 2019 at Wakra, would be the best examples of advanced technologies. “We have plans to expand the existing presence in GCC countries and move to Africa and Asia Pacific in near future”. 

With ten years of serving the community, Naseem Healthcare has become a name to reckon with for providing high-quality services. “We have met all the standards set by JCI and the accreditation reiterates our commitment for providing the best quality healthcare to our patients. JCI is the International arm of Joint Commission for Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO), USA, one of the oldest and largest international standards setting and accrediting bodies in healthcare that evaluates more than 20,000 organizations and inspires them to excel in providing safe and effective care.

The JCI standards focus on areas that directly impact patient care such as patient experience and feedback, infection control, patient and family rights and patient awareness initiatives. To be accredited, the hospital performance is also evaluated in areas like medical expertise, staff qualifications, efforts to improve the quality of services, facilities management and safety and organizational leadership.
