Qatar's preparations for the FIFA World Cup 2022

Qatar has already confirmed that all the stadiums will be ready two years before the date of the World Cup. Two stadiums are scheduled to be ready by the end of this year- Al-Bayt Stadium and Al Wakra Stadium. All of the training sites for the World Cup 2022 will be ready by the end of 2019. Some of them will be ready by the end of this year. The Khalifa International Stadium has already been upgraded to a capacity of 48,000. The stadium includes the cooling technology as expected. It will host the 2019 World Athletics Championships.

Qatar completes first air-conditioned 2022 World Cup stadium

The way Qatar has been doing their job proves their ability to host the World Cup. Russian president Vladimir Putin has already handed Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani the soccer ball as a symbolic relay baton. Putin also said that he was confident that Qatar will deliver a World Cup as good as Russia.
