Talks between HH the Emir, Somali President were constructive: Somalian Minister

Gamal Mohamed Hassan, the Somalian Minister of Planning, Investment and Economic Development stated that the recent talks between His Highness the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani and Somali President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo were constructive.

The minister pointed out that the talks were held in a “brotherly atmosphere” which proves the trust and depth of the relations between Qatar and Somalia.


He further highlighted that Somalian president’s visit to Qatar is a reaffirmation of the continuous communication and consultation between the leaderships of both countries, as reported by Qatar News Agency.

It may be also be mentioned here that talks are on with regards to comprehensive and covered all bilateral, regional and international issues of common interest.

Mohammad Hassan said that the people of Somalia thank HH the Emir and the people of Qatar for their support, assistance and for standing by them, always.
