Job Description

• Receives the consignments, checks and counts the boxes.

• Reports to the Warehouse In-charge or the Procurement Departmentr for any excess or shortages.

• Locates the received parts in the bins. 

• Creates new locations for newly created parts, taking into consideration the logical distribution of the shelves. 

• Performs stocktaking and cycle counts functions, Investigates and reconciles discrepancies 

• Collects the picking slip, locates the appropriate part and delivers either to the Service Advisor or the Mechanics.

• Must have Basic Knowledge of Computers and good Analytical skills, physically fit for heavy lifting.

• Complete housekeeping duties to maintain the warehouse in a clean, tidy and safe condition. 

• Must have sound knowledge of Automobiles Spare Parts/Inventory Control process.

Skills

• Must be able to Unload, unpacks, inspects, checks packing slips against stock received loads, moves, stores and records the movements and storage locations of materials within the warehouse.

• Keeps an organized filing for GRN's picking slips and invoices.

• Must be hard working with the ability to stay focused, pay attention to detail, able to lift heavy Parts, able to stand long period of time.

• Basic knowledge of computers.

• Must have at least 3 - 5 years of relevant work experience
