A famous indian sweet recipe or indian laddu recipe prepared with 3 basic ingredients which includes dedicated coconut, milk and sugar. it is typically prepared during festival seasons as offering especially during diwali, ganesh chaturthi and navarathri.


• 1 cup coconut, finely shredded


• 1/2 cup condensed milk

• 1/4 tsp cardamom powder

• Slivered almonds, for garnishing


• Gently roast the coconut in a pan for 2 minutes.

• Combine the cardamom powder to this and mix.

• Now stir in the condensed milk and mix till all the “coconut cardamom mix” is well coated with the same.

• In a few minutes, the mixture will thicken.

• Switch off the flame and let the mixture cool down for 5 minutes.

• Apply some ghee/unsalted butter on your palm, take some mixture and make a round ball out of it and garnish with sliced almonds.

• Repeat till you have used all the mixture.

• 1 cup dates, deseeded and finely chopped

• 4 tbsp mixed dry fruits such as almond, cashews and pistachios( finely chopped)

• 1 tbsp ghee


• Heat ghee in a wok and add the dates and saute on medium heat, while pressing the dates with a ladle.

• Once the dates have mixed well with the ghee, add the dry fruit mix.

• Combine well and continue to cook and stir for another 3 to 4 minutes.

• Remove from the flame, cool and roll into a cylinder shape.

• Slice and serve.




A scrumptious Indian dessert made with pureed apples,sugar and ghee.


• 2 peeled and pureed Apples

• 1/2 cup sugar

•1/4 cup ghee

•1/2 tsp cardamom powder

• 2 tbsp cashews


• Heat 1/2 tsp ghee and fry cashews in a small pan. Drain and set aside.

• In another pan, add apple puree and cook till the moisture evaporates.

• Now add in sugar and mix well. Cook for few minutes.

• Add in ghee and mix well.

• Cook till it leaves the side of the pan.

• Add in fried cashews, cardamom powder and mix well.

• Serve hot.
