That movie is none other than "Avengers: Infinity War." The reason behind its unquestionable dominance regarding the question of anticipation is the fact that this movie has been building up its climax with great movies one after another for the past decade.

So the question is, did it deliver on the anticipation of the fans or did it crumble under pressure like another highly anticipated movie titled "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice"? First things first, let's talk about the elephant in the room which is Thanos. We the audience have been seeing glimpses of Thanos since the first Avengers movie. So, everyone was skeptical on how good the character of Thanos might be. Because Marvel's Cinematic Universe has been lacking great villains for most of their movies. But all those skepticism were shattered from the very first scene of Thanos in this movie, as from that moment onwards you knew that this is not another forgettable movie villain. From start to finish Thanos kept on performing as the villain that the Marvel Cinematic Universe deserved till now. The main props for Thanos being so great should be given to the actor Josh Brolin. His performance combined with great CGI and story meant that we got the perfect villain for the movie.

Now let's talk about the other characters in the movie. Now we can't talk about each and every one of them because there are a lot of characters in this movie. Some of them got sufficient amount of screen time and some of them were just shoehorned there as they were in the Cinematic Universe. In addition to that, all of them were scattered in different parts of the universe due to different reasons. So, the Russo brothers who are the directors of the movie deserves praise to connect all those different storylines seamlessly.

All in all "Avengers: Infinity War" delivered in all of its promises and then some. So, if you want to see great storylines interconnected brilliantly with some of the most beloved characters of the modern film with great action scenes, then "Avengers: Infinity War" is the movie for you.
