Who is better? Lionel Messi or Cristiano Ronaldo? The eternal question

The eternal dispute on modern football extends over all the world as the Argentinean Lionel Messi and the Portuguese Cristiano Ronaldo have broke every record and doubt about their immense talent and quality on a soccer field.

Not only FC Barcelona’s and Real Madrid’s fans clash in a pretty well-known discussion about which of the two players is better and should be awarded the number 1 spot of today’s “beautiful game”, but hundreds of millions of people around the world does this too. On the other hand, some people say we, as soccer fans, should just enjoy the magnificence of these two historic athletes.

Also, his creativeness, added to his perfect dribbling, makes him a wonderful midfielder, winger or forward, capable of adapting to any system as we have seen Barcelona change many players around him.

The Portuguese machine may not be capable of playing on the midfield or as a winger at top performance since three -or so- years ago, but he traded these traits in exchange of an enormous impact on the striker position. His mindset developed into a dangerous, sharp and mobile forward who is always looking the perfect movement to reach the passes his Real Madrid teammates deliver.
