WORK ABROAD : Czech Republic Offers 1000 Work Vacancies ForPinoy Workers

Czech Republic is opening its doors to more than 1,000 Filipino workers as factory workers, despite being undergrad.

 

 

This was previously tackled in a business forum at the Ministry of Industry and Trade in Prague, wherein products and industries of the Philippines were introduced to Czech employers.

“We have a very good reputation. We are known to be hardworking, generous, cheerful, masayahinangmga Pilipino, masipag at magandaangreputasyondito,” says Philippine Embassy Charge d’Affaires Jed Dayang.

Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Undersecretary Rowel Barba also added that Pinoy workers in Czech Republic are given enough protection as they have guidelines and regulations for minimum pay for migrant workers.

“Ito hongpagpadala ng mga Pilipino ay sasaloobsaisang framework naprotektadoangmga rights ng mga workers, kahit ho mga Pilipino ay meron pong minimum pay,” says Barba.

During the hiring of Filipino workers in Prague, they do not need to pay for the placement fee. When accepted, they will have food and transportation allowance, most importantly, they will have a health insurance.

This 2018, they need 1,000 Filipino workers and they are will also look for additional manpower staff for their embassy in the Philippines that will provide additional help in issuing the additional 1,000 work visas by the end of the year.

“The decision has been made to recently upgrade the resources allocated to the visa handling situation so that the bottleneck at this moment will be rid off, and we can have up to a thousand people by the end of this year,” says VladanRaz, a Czech Recruiter.

Aside from factory workers, health workers and those in the IT sectors are also highly needed, says Dayang.
