Doha, November 04, 2026 : Senior Qatari officials have reviewed the readiness of the country's national response system during separate visits to the National Command Center (NCC) as part of the ongoing "Watan 2026" exercise.
The visits were conducted by HE Minister of Municipality Abdullah bin Hamad bin Abdullah Al Attiyah; HE Chief of Staff of the Qatar Armed Forces Lieutenant General (Pilot) Jassim bin Mohammed Al Mannai; HE President of the National Cyber Security Agency Eng. Abdulrahman bin Ali Al Farahid Al Malki; and Assistant Undersecretary for Security Affairs at the Ministry of Interior HE Sheikh Naif bin Faleh Al-Thani.
During their visits, the officials reviewed the response system's preparedness, including the procedures and mechanisms in place to handle the different scenarios simulated as part of the exercise.
