Doha, October 12, 2026 : HH the Deputy Amir and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Qatar University (QU), Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al-Thani, chaired the Board’s first meeting of the 2026-2027 academic year on Monday morning at the Amiri Diwan.
The Board began by reviewing the status of decisions and recommendations from its fourth meeting of the previous academic year. It then discussed the agenda items and took the appropriate decisions.
The Board approved a proposal for a Master of Science in Clinical Practice in health and medical sciences, along with several proposals for academic programs in Early Childhood, Environmental Sciences, and Data Science.
