Another flight took off from Afghanistan heading towards Qatar with more than 300 passengers.  This is the seventh flight to Qatar with citizens from various countries Qatar is helping to move from Afghanistan.

Assistant Foreign Minister and Spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs HE Lolwah bint Rashid Al Khater tweeted that passengers include Afghan citizens, Afghan MPs , UN affiliates, journalists as well as citizens from Australia, Japan, United States, France and United Kingdom.

“The 7th passengers flight took off from Kabul International Airport coming to Hamad International Airport. More than 300 passengers including Afghan citizens, Afghan MPs , UN affiliates, Journalists as well as citizens Australia, Japan, United States, France and United Kingdom,” her tweet said.

Australian Ambassador to Qatar, Jonathan Muir, tweeted thanking Qatar for assisting Australians.

“A big thanks to Qatar for assisting 34 Australians and their dependants depart Kabul on today’s flight. @Lolwah_Alkhater, @MofaQatar_EN, @qatarairways, your efforts are greatly appreciated.” He tweeted.

A few days back a flight carrying more than 300 passengers including Afghan T20 cricket team, who are training in Qatar for the World Cup, which will be held in UAE and Oman in coming weeks.
