Assistant Foreign Minister Meets Minister of Foreign Affairs of Indonesia
HE Assistant Foreign Minister and Spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Lolwah bint Rashid Al Khater met today with HE Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia Retno Lestari Priansari Marsudi, during her current visit to Indonesia.
During the meeting, they reviewed bilateral cooperation relations between the two countries, and the situation in Afghanistan, especially in the humanitarian, health and educational aspects.
Both sides stressed during the meeting, the importance of the role of women in Afghanistan, and the need for their presence in all sectors of the country.
HE Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia noted Qatar's effective role in achieving peace and stability in Afghanistan, adding that her country seeks, through its cooperation with Qatar, to communicate with the Afghan caretaker government to contribute to improving the humanitarian conditions and educational and health services in Afghanistan, stressing the importance of unifying the efforts of the international community in this regard.
On the other hand, HE Lolwah bint Rashid Al Khater signed the visitor book of the Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
