Education Ministry sets to hold exams for students infected with Covid-19

The Ministry of Education and Higher Education is to hold exams for grade 1-12 students who missed the second round exams due to a Covid-19 infection or contact with an infected person.

According to a circular issued by the ministry's Evaluation Affairs Sector to principals of public and private schools that follow national standards, the exams will take place from Sunday, September 5, to Thursday, September 16.

The students are required to bring a certificate from the Ministry of Public Health proving the date of infection or contact with a virus-infected person. Schools are required to provide the Student Assessment Department with the names of those students no later than September 1.
