DOHA REPUTED Indian school Rajagiri Public School (RPS), which has its headquarters in Kerala, is all set to open its Doha campus in the next academic year. The foundation stone of the new Indian school was laid by Mohammed Nasser Khatab al Kaabi, the chairman of the Al Kaabi Contracting and Trading, in Abu Hamour on Sunday.
Speaking to Qatar Tribune an official of RPS in Doha Aju Abraham said, “The primary classes are expected to begin at the school by April 2014. The Rajagiri educational management group in India will operate the ‘Rajagiri Doha Public School’ in Qatar in association with the Al Kaabi Contracting & Trading Company.”
As an internationally renowned Indian educational management group Rajagiri has over 150 years of experience in the field of secondary and higher education. The new school is expected to offer quality education for Indian students in Doha.
Rajagiri educational management group currently runs a leading Indian school in Dubai and runs several educational institutions in Kerala in the fields of engineering, business administration, computer science, personnel management etc. The school will follow the CBSE curriculum.
“The school will have all modern facilities to cater the all round development of the young generation”, Aju Abraham added. The Indian Diaspora in Qatar has over half million people including over 25,000 students.
