Qatar's Foreign Minister attends 143rd GCC Ministerial Council Session in Riyadh

His Excellency Sheikh Mohamed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, the Foreign Minister of Qatar, attended the 143rd GCC Ministerial Council Session held on Wednesday at the GCC General Secretariat headquarters in Riyadh.

 

The Chairman of the meeting was the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain and  President of the current session of the GCC Ministerial Council, Sheikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa.

During the meeting, the Foreign Ministers discussed the preparations for the consultative meeting of the GCC leaders to be held in Riyadh, the GCC-US Summit , and the Arab-American-Islamic Summit, which will be hosted by Riyadh on May 21, during the visit of Donald Trump to Saudi Arabia, as reported by The Peninsula.

Furthermore, reports on the follow-up to the implementation of the decisions of the Supreme Council were reviewed, including reports submitted by the Ministerial Committees and the Secretariat, the topics related to the strategic dialogues between the GCC countries and a number of global blocs countries.
