The Public Cleaning Department at the Ministry of Municipality and Environment (MME) has identified a number of animal carcasses on the eastern and western beaches of the country.

The ministry has coordinated with the entities concerned at the environment affairs sector regarding the examination of the carcasses to determine the cause of their death and complete the necessary procedures in such cases.

Meanwhile, the Public Cleaning Department’s Islands and Beaches Section has cleaned the Sealine beach of all the refuse materials discarded by visitors.

The Al Gharrafa Office at Al Rayyan Municipality also issued nine violation reports in March regarding the public cleaning, all of which were resolved through reconciliation after the violators paid fines and removed the violations.
