Qatar Chamber will organize its third 'Made in China' exhibition from November 16 to 19 at Doha Exhibition and Convention Center. Over 100 Chinese companies will participate in the event held under the patronage of HE Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al-Thani, said a QNA report

The event aims to take advantage of Chinese expertise in industry, strengthen cooperation between businesses in two countries and create a platform for trade transactions between them, the report noted.

The exhibition is attracting great attention from Chinese companies in various economic and trade sectors, said H.E. Sheikh Khalifa bin Jassim bin Mohamed Al-Thani, chairman of Qatar Chamber. He expressed hope that the expo will lead to constructive partnerships and alliances enabling Chinese companies to enter Qatari market just as previous two editions witnessed signing of several contracts and joint ventures among Qatari and Chinese companies.

The trade volume between Qatar and China reached QR 20 billion and is expected to grow as direct maritime routes are launched recently connecting Hamad Port and some Chinese ports, Sheikh Khalifa said.
