Air India to Introduce New Flight Services on Kerala-Doha Route From August 15

India-based budget airline, Air India, is all set to introduce new flight services on the Kerala-Doha route post August 15.

As a matter of fact, the airline currently operates 14 flights per week between India and Doha and seven of these connect to various Kerala airports, as The Peninsula reports.

Air India Express will launch three direct flights a week from Kochi to Doha from August 15  and add one more from September 15, flying four direct flights a week from Kerala to Doha.

 

A statement notes that the new flights will be operated on Thursday, Friday and Saturday and will leave Kochi airport at 10:00 am, arriving at Hamad International Airport, Doha at 11:45 am.

Further, the flights will leave Hamad International airport at 12:45pm and will land at the Kochi airport at 19:40pm.

It may be mentioned that it would be the first time that the airline will operate direct flight services to Doha from Kochi, with the current ones taking a Kochi-Kozhikode-Doha route.

Air India Express, has in fact, already shored up their service to Qatar by offering additional flights from June 24 to address the increase in demand due to blockade by Saudi, UAE and Bahrain.
