Male is the capital and most populated city in the country and is located right in the centre of the widely dispersed country. The Maldives is made up of 1,192 islands and most of them are home to hotels, resorts and guest houses.

Many airlines from the UAE fly to the Maldives including Emirates, Sri Lanka Airlines, Qatar Airways and Air India to name a few. The average cost of flights for a 4-day trip starts at Dh1,500 but can vary depending on when you fly.
